The house has four rooms and a small apartment. The rooms are well-sized, light and comfortable as they are equipped with underfloor heating.The rooms at the front have splendid views over the valley.The ´Cocina´ - the kitchen used to be here - is an ensuite double room.The ´Narila´ is a twin room with the bathroom across the corridor. This bathroom is private because it is only for guests staying in this room.An extra bed can be prepared on request.
The ´Granero´ - the grain used to be stored here - is a double ensuite room at the side with a large balcony that offers fantastic views. The room is large enough to place one or two extra single beds.The ´Lagar´ - the grapes used to be pressed in this room - is an ensuite twin room at the back. This room has a terrace under chestnut trees and is accessible for people using a wheelchair. The room is large enough to place an extra single bed if required. The apartment has its own entrance from the terrace. There is a small kitchen-diner on the ground floor. A flight of stairs leads up to the first floor where there is a room and a bathroom. It has a double bed and a single bed. It is basically an apartment for two people, three at the most. We serve meals in the dining room, bar or on the terrace. In the dining room and the bar the original chestnut beamed ceilings, and some of the stone walls, have been restored. As a result, these rooms breathe a rustic atmosphere. In the sitting room with fireplace there is a television and dvd-player with a collection of Spanish movies. In front of the house there is an old stone threshing floor ('era' in Spanish). Threshing circles are quite typical of the Alpujarras as there are many to be found throughout the region. In summer some of them are still used. El Paraje has two 'eras'. One of them is situated on a higher part of the estate. A signposted route on the property leads you to this viewpoint. The old threshing floor in front of the house has been restored and now serves as a terrace.
